About the Photographer

As some of you may know I operate a successful restaurant located here in Marathon called Classic Coffee and am involved with a computer sales and service campany called Marathon Griffin Computers.  However, photography has been a hobby of mind for many years and this is what I really enjoy doing.

I started off in photography in the 80's in Sudbury and free-lanced for approximately 10 years shooting for both Candid Bridal Studio and Gillardo and Miron Photography both located in Sudbury. 

One of these studios is still in business today and this is where I picked up the finer points in primarily portrait and wedding photography.  Recently over the past 2-3 years I started into other things that I love to shoot such as landscapes and some wildlife.  On occasion I have done some pictures for The Mercury here in Marathon and you may have seen my name credited on some of the papers pictures. 

In the 80's we were shooting solely with medium format cameras, however now with the current high MediPixels of today's modern 35MM digital cameras, I now shoot exclusively with Nikon DLSR cameras.  My favourites are my Nikon D7100 and Nikon D5300.
